The nuimi brand. and its products
We were asked several times how the creative team behind nuimi. came up with this unique name.
The answer to that is actually quite "simple". But getting there was anything but easy.
After countless late-night brainstorming sessions, moments of desperation, rejected trademark applications, and more setbacks, the team finally came up with a name that won them over immediately: nuimi.
nuimi. consists of the components "nutrition" and "Aimi".
"nutrition" - nutrition.
"Aimi" is composed of the Japanese kanji characters "ai/愛" for "love", "affection" and "mi/美" for "beautiful" or "beauty".
This is exactly what we want to convey with our products - a complementary diet full of love and beauty!
But enough about the nuimi brand. What makes our products interesting?

Highly dosed, micellar concentrate
Dietary supplements are commonly available on the market in capsule, powder or liquid form.
But there are crucial differences in the liquid form in particular, which is characterized by oral intake with high bioavailability, since it is absorbed directly through the mucous membrane.
Most products are based on various (vegetable) oils.
Have you ever tried to dissolve sunflower oil in water, for example?
Yup, that doesn't work very well... The body can't absorb the oil or the fat-soluble compounds it contains because the oil and water don't mix!

Guess what percentage of water the average human body is made up of - RIGHT, the human body is about 75% water.
What clearly distinguishes us from other manufacturers of vitamin preparations is the fact that our vitamins are micellized on the one hand and surrounded by a water-soluble cell on the other hand, or fat-soluble substances are packaged within this water-soluble cell. This means that our products have a high bioavailability! The body can absorb the vitamins through the water-soluble cell and release the active ingredient encapsulated therein. In addition, our cell is 1000 times smaller than a human cell!
Since our body is made up of approximately 70% water, it shouldn't come as a big surprise that we have difficulty absorbing (ingesting) fat-soluble oral compounds. Tests show that on average only 2-20% of an orally taken fat-soluble supplement is absorbed by the body. In other words, the body doesn't even have the chance to use at least 80% of the compounds taken, isn't that a shame? We thought so too. Why not convert the fat-soluble compounds to be water-soluble as well? This is exactly what our products enable, as they easily penetrate the mucous membrane and thus enter the bloodstream. So they can be absorbed almost immediately with a bioavailability close to 100%!
Over time, our cells lose their vitality and ability to absorb the nutrients they need. Our cells need to be fed, and the best way to do that is to bring the nutrients directly to them. A large number of micelles occur in the human body, which must be constantly formed by the organism for fat digestion. This process of micelle formation is therefore also referred to as micellization and is very complex for the body and also requires a wealth of resources. We mimic what our bodies are doing in a safe, natural, but much more efficient way. We encapsulate the active ingredient to make it water soluble, protect it and facilitate its entry into the cell!
